Maggi Aloo Fry Recipe | Spicy Indian Potato Maggi in Minutes

 MAGGI POTATO (ALOO) FRY: An Indian Twist to Maggi

When we talk about Maggi, one thing instantly comes to mind — “Maggi in 2 minutes.”

Which means:

  • Boil 2 cups of water.
  • Add Maggi noodles along with the Maggi masala (spice mix).

Now, it’s time to experiment with a different style of cooking!


🔥 WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

  • Aloo (potatoes)
  • Pyaz (onion)
  • Maggi masala

🧂 INGREDIENTS

Here is a basic ingredient list for making Aloo Maggi Fry:

  • 1 small pack of Maggi noodles
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 large onion
  • 50 gm mustard oil or refined oil
  • 1 green chilli
  • ½ tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt to taste

🍳 METHOD OF PREPARATION

👉 Step 1

Cut the potatoes and onion into julienne slices. Chop the green chilli into small pieces.

👉 Step 2

Boil the Maggi noodles in water until they are about 95% cooked.

👉 Step 3

Drain the water and remove the boiled noodles.

👉 Step 4

Rinse the noodles in cold water to stop the cooking process.

👉 Step 5

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes and onion together until they turn light brown.

👉 Step 6

Add salt and green chilli according to taste.

👉 Step 7

Add the boiled noodles and ½ tablespoon of vinegar.

👉 Step 8

Stir and mix all the ingredients well. Fry for a few minutes.

Serve hot and garnish on a plate.


NOTE

  • For a tangy flavor, add some tomato sauce.
  • For an Italian touch, add a cube of cheese.

Fry some boiled chicken, egg, or prawns and mix them well with the noodles.
